Dr. Renteria was born and raised in the small town of Clint, Texas. Her education took her to the city of Austin where she pursued a degree in biology at the University of Texas at Austin. Shortly after, she moved to San Antonio to attend optometry school at the Rosenberg School of Optometry at UIW. During her time in San Antonio, she participated in research of electrodiagnostic testing and was active in clubs that emphasized community and mission work. After receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree, she completed her residency training in Ocular Disease at the Memphis VA Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Renteria has now returned to her home state of Texas and is excited about providing compassionate and quality care to her patient’s eye care needs.
